i went to a conference for work and lets see where do i START
it started off well and i thought HEY this isnt bad
BUT then the second half I was sitting in front of a guy WHO did EVERY single annoying bored antic possible
it started off with him clicking the pen they gave us repeatedly and repeatedly means over and over BUT I mean REALLY OVER AND OVER
after the pen clicking he then turned to the popping noise that little kids make when they pop their cheek over and over
i mean WHY oh WHY
and after all those things-he threw out a few no so silent whistles
i mean i was thinking are we NOT at the same conference!
SO that was wretched and then the last speakers of the day OMG
ok so there are some people who shouldnt do public speaking and there are also people who should never even read slides to people
these 3 presenters were 3 of those people-all from the same department and just talking and talking
i mean i dont know if they even knew what they were talking about BUT they kept talking and they were dry and using monotone voices and did i mention DRY
I am good at paying attention and it was most dreadful that i was in a secured room so no cell phones allowed but they tested my human ability to PRETEND to pay attention
so after all that i spent almost 2 hours in traffic trying to get home
sigh
what a DAY
