so i figured if i didn't want to get an obnoxious email or
BBM later-I better darn sure produce some type of blog to keep her happy
lets see-i am sitting here at my desk-i feel sick-so
im sipping my
gatorade through a straw....
despite having a shitty night's sleep-i was able to pull myself together and look presentable in some nice jeans-black heels-a purple tee and a charcoal blazer-not too bad i must say
so i have been thinking about my blog and the direction i want to take with it-i know i like to discuss either food, great restaurants, rants of the day, or sometimes relationship advice
i guess i
dont need to stick with one topic its MY blog
soo according to a certain peon -i am like
Palin when I am spouting my thoughts, opinions, and relationship advice-BUT once again its MY blog and FURTHER-i have lots of dating experience and relationship insight-i have worked with lots of guys and have brothers so i hear lots of BS and sometimes some good stuff
so its not a matter of feeling qualified BUT i am not pulling stuff out my arse and once again-its MY blog
so my thought for today is-its so easy in our lives and in our relationships to get so lost and focus on the I and what the "I" wants to do that sometimes we forget about that other person-the other half of the equation that makes it a "WE"
with the way things are -life being as predictable as a flower girl at a wedding-it is so important to know where the value lies in the people and things in our life...is that sports game more important than sleeping in or spending a weekend with the one you love?
is the bar more important than the one you proclaim to love?
what are people ultimately trying or hoping to accomplish by choosing what it is they want to do?
Does it boil down to people being innately SELFISH?
A wise person told me once-when you are in a relationship-you will be 100 times happier if you always put the other person and their happiness first. and that's not to say lose yourself-BUT
isnt that why we are with that person-to make THEM happy which in turn makes US happy?
otherwise-be ALONE-if you
dont want the commitment if you
dont want the
privilege of loving and being loved by some than
dont waste their time or yours because there are PLENTY of people out there who want to willing give love and receive love without all the hassle
in the movie
whyd i get married they brought of a good line i love WHEN YOU SAID I DO-YOU GAVE UP THE I-FOR WE
i think this applies beyond marriage but adult relationships-when you chose to engage in an adult relationship there are certain
expectationsso shit or get off the pot
ok i know i digressed immensely but the point of it all-is make it about the other person not YOU and the relationship will grow and most smart men know-a happy woman-equals a happy EVERYONE!
