so here i am at my desk-completely unfocused. its raining-our work is slow and mine is done and i am like picturing how i looked in my bikini preview last night-all i can say is the sickness has been good to me in that sense.
i have not ever worn that bikini-i got it while in training BUT due to a lack of body fat at the time it was not flattering at all-anywho-but now-looks nice! I was like wow you're hot!!
my eyebrows are sorta starting to grow back which is good-was a bit worried for a second about my catastrophe-i mean art work :)
so-i am sitting here with the annual CFC-Combined Federal Campaign-essentially a time to make charitable donations-so I like to do so, but there are a million trillion charities and i dont want to give to one that is run by like a Madoff or that type or one that is clearly rolling in the dough-so with the help of some smart women i have it narrowed down to 2 for the year-My Sister's Place INC-which is a shelter for battered women and Days End Farm Horse Resuce-because I do have that bleeding heart :)
This has spawned the part of me that reminds me how grateful i am to have such an amazing life and extraordinary circumstances, not on a "I hit the lotto level and can spend like an idiot" but in knowing everyday i go home to a roof over my head-plenty of food to chose from, a car to drive, a job to go to, FRIENDS *ha-i pay them well* and so many other things that are just NOT common soo
i feel the adage is appropriate : " To whom much is given, much is required" (if i messed it up fix it and pretend that's what i said the first time!
So since i have so much-the least i can do is give my time-so i shall
i encourage all of you to take a look at the life you live, the comfortable, cozy life and even your problems and compare them to the homeless person or jobless person and their problems
we get so caught up in our Direct TV and ipods and media entertainment that we forget to enjoy the company of others and the simple things of life.....a good show to watch seriously...and Kellee dont chime in with commentary BUT the DUGGARS on TLC (20 years-20 DUGGARS) a good wholesome family with a lot of kids but the best part is their VALUES
